What the heart really wants...

It seems so very hard
To put your finger on just the thing
That shall give you a clue as to
What the heart really wants

You crave for the tastes of the world
And lust for grades to top every other
But are chocolates and a distinction
What the heart really wants?

You think you'd like a cosy bike ride
Because it seems so much fun on TV screens
But is a feigned forced pleasure
What the heart really wants?

You think a ghost of the past
Or maybe just a knight of your dreams
Is probably close to being
What your heart really wants

But you never stop to listen
To your heart screaming to the hills
Waiting to solve every mystery surrounding
What you heart really wants

Stop, turn and look back inside
At what you've been missing all the while
And breathe in the secrets to understand
What your heart really wants.
