Little Wonders!

It often dazzles me when the most banal of moments in life are often the ones we tend to remember with a smile on our face! Even in the midst of our harrowing, hectic attempts at winning the hand of Lady joy, we unwittingly pick up the little treats she throws down our paths! Oh no, dear God, I ain't even remotely complaining here... rather just admiring His handiwork and how He's miraculously provided for that elusive universal wish of balance in one's life.

My earliest happy memories involve me on the beach with my daddy dearest.... Him flinging me away to glory and me whooping with delight at every crash of a wave! Then there are those where I, the pint-sized dacoit am plundering my dad's face in search of some mind-boggling treasure! Those expeditions more often than not ended with my dad clutching his eye in agony.. I seem to have some sort of an affinity for that particular part of the anatomy! The rather recent joyful outburst of mine came from the fact that my darling cousin at home failed to register any difference in my appearance after my rather radical new hair cut! Boy! Did I tire my sides laughing to that one!

What I am rather inarticulately trying to say by means of these picturesque descriptions is that even if you climb an everest or just top your class, it is the inconsequential that you tend to associate with the joy in the memories! The indignant refusal of your friend to accept that such an eventuality ever did happen or the glazed over expression of your friend when you say you won the lottery tickles you more than the idea of a lottery itself!

Trivialities in life are the most grossly underrated phenomena of human existence in my opinion. For it is in the ordinary that one can find the extraordinary! The example of my moments of joy at the beach with my dad may seem commonplace to most of you but it can never be the same... And every happy minute on the beach with your dad will mean equally much to all of you! So all those bedazzling mysteries of life have their answers deeply entrenched in that that fails to catch your eye! So for the ambitious, go look a little closer at the life you are living... and for those just looking to live life in joy, let the magic of the moment touch you!
